What is a Niche? A niche is simply the blogging area you want to concentrate. Example: You can create a blog where you give mobile phone guide, teaching others how to do things like cook, build house, Technology update etc. A niche can be narrowed down to mobile phone review, about bitcoins, school news etc. Note that a niche can be broad or narrow. Example of a narrowed niche, you can create a blog under games but you offer fifa games update to your audience.

Niche is very important in blogging, from research niche website performs well on Google than multi niche sites. Why? It helps to increase user behavior which helps in Google ranking. Building a niche site makes it easier to cover the topics of the audience you target.

BLOGGER PLATFORM

Blogger platform is a free platform own by Google that allows uses to host their blog with paying a dime. Though it is free but they are a lot of limitations compared to others. Since it is a free host. If you are planning of hosting your blog there, to make look professional you have to update from the blogspot.com to a paid domain host.

This can be done by purchasing a domain from any of the domain providers and connect it to your blogspot blog.

Doing that will allow you to have access to many monetization platforms. And it will have this professional blog ( when I mean professional look, I meant .com, .com.ng etc suffix to ur brand name).
Anyone blogging with sub domain like .blogspot.com or .wordpress.com is regarded as a newbie is blogosphere.

WORDPRESS

wordpress is the best platform for me, I love using them. It gives your opportunity to customize you blog to your test. Wordpress offers a lot of features that make blogging easier. In search engine optimization, wordpress has it all. They off a lot unlike blogger platform. With the use of plugin wordpress have turned bloggers to lazy ass, you don't need coding anyomore.

Wordpress is a paid platform, there many packages depending on the capacity of the blog you want to host.

By now you must have made up your mind on the platform to host your dream blog. But I will recommend that if you are new to blogosphere use blogger because you will make so silly mistake if otherwise use wordpress.

Host and create your blog, I personally use namecheap host and I recommend it for you. Create host your blog, do all necessary seo set-up. Sumit your to Google for index with site map. Most important install yoast seo. I recommend them for on page seo.

Keyword Research

Here I will tell you how you will find keywords for your new website using free tools. I use keywordeverywhere chrome extension. Just type in any keyword that you can think of that is related to your niche. Since your website is new, write on keywords that has competition from 0 to 0.3, this will help you rank faster and easier.

How to Write Post that will write Easily

When you have gotten your keyword, here are steps or how to use your keyword for right optimization.

1. Write plagiarism free content, don't copy from anyone rather read and re-write in your own words.

2. Let your keyword appear in your post title like How to + Keyword

3. Use your keyword in first paragraph of your article.

4. Don't write long paragraphs. Keep it short with easy to understand English.

5. Let your keyword appear in every 150 words of your article, it should not be more than once to avoid keyword stuff ( too much keyword)

6. Let you keyword appear in your last 100 words or last paragraph. It will help google bot understand what you are writing about.

7. Bold or italic or underline most keywords..

8. Have at least 3 or 2 h2 heading containing your keyword.

9. Let your keyword appear I your blog post url or perm link.


If you have all these done, now you can publish the post.
